The A Cappella Group Awards

2003-2004

* The group was founded during this school year.

* The group was selected to open for the Four Tops at Barbara B Mann Performing Arts Hall.

 

2004-2005

 * National Championship of High School A Cappella Florida Championship Florida State Champions

  • Ashley Brasile – Best Soloist for Stay
  • Best Showmanship Award 

* National Championship of High School A Cappella South Division Championship 1st Runner up

* Recorded first album at Studio Sea during April and May.

 

2005-2006

* Debut album TAG - We're It! is released in October

* Bring Me To Life is selected to be included on the 2006 Best of High School A Cappella CD

* TAG – We’re It! is nominated for Best High School Album in the 2006 Contemporary A Cappella Recording Association CARA Awards.

* Bring Me To Life is nominated as Best High School Song in the 2006 CARA Awards

* International Championship of High School A Cappella – South Quarterfinal 2nd Place overall

  • Rocky Castro – Best Solo for Fields of Gold

* National Championship of High School A Cappella – Florida Championship

  • Jarrod Bowen – Best Solo for My Boo
  • Blake Shelton – Best Vocal Percussion

 

2006-2007

* International Championship of High School A Cappella - South Semifinal Champions

  • Best Choreography Award 

*International Championship of High School A Cappella - National Finals at Lincoln Center - 3rd Place in the Nation

 

2007-2008

* Hands is selected to be included on the 2008 Best of High School A Cappella CD

*International Championship of High School A Cappella - South Semifinal Runner-up

  • Blake Shelton - Outstanding Vocal Percussion

2nd Album "Long Overdue" released in April

 

2008-2009

Long Overdue is nominated for Best High School Album in the 2009 Contemporary A Cappella Recording Association CARA Awards.

* Karmastition is nominated for Best High School Song in the 2009 Contemporary A cappella Recording Association CARA Awards

* Katie Campbell was nominated as Best High School Solo for Hands in the 2009 Contemporary A Cappella Recording Association CARA Awards

* Hosted the ICHSA South Semifinal and finished in third place
